Latest information

Dear guests,
Below is some information about the water supply

Emergency drinking water supply in Leipheim – as of 06.08.2024

The town of Leipheim’s drinking water supply is still in emergency mode due to the flooding and the associated shutdown of the drinking water wells on the Danube. However, the network is largely stable thanks to water supplies from the Langenau site of the Landeswasserversorgung special purpose association.

The emergency drinking water supply via the ArealPro with the support of the Zweckverband Landeswasserversorgung will be maintained until the waterworks on the Danube is operational again. This will still take some time.

The boiling requirement still applies:

Germs can be present in the drinking water network after contamination such as occurs during flooding. For this reason, drinking water, water for food preparation and rinsing water for eating, drinking and milk dishes must be boiled.
However, there is no danger when showering, washing or similar. – Dishwashers or similar with an operating temperature of over 60°C can be operated.
